• Open Water Dives: 4 dives in open water (typically over 2 days) under supervision of a PADI Instructor
• Focus: Applying skills learned in confined water in real diving conditions
• Goal: Build confidence and competence as an open water diver

• Structure: 4 open water dives with skill demonstrations
• Maximum Depth: Up to 18 meters
• Outcome: Upon completion, you receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification

• 5-point descent (SORTED: Signal, Orient, Regulator, Time, Equalize/Descend)
• Pre-dive safety check (BWRAF: BCD, Weights, Releases, Air, Final check)
• Mask clearing
• Regulator recovery and clearing
• Buoyancy control and hovering
• Underwater navigation
• Safety procedures (controlled ascents, air sharing)

Additional Elements:

• Equipment Use: Full scuba gear handling
• Environmental Awareness: Understanding depth, pressure, and visibility
• Logbook: Recording each dive (depth and duration)
